Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is open for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in Columbus, OH. This role involves supporting both an elementary school and a preschool center during two distinct periods in the 2026 school calendar year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language assessments and interventions to elementary and preschool students
- Delivering therapy services tailored to individual student needs in both educational settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication goals
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports according to school guidelines
The contract schedule is split into two phases:
- January 5, 2026, to March 27, 2026: Three days per week at the elementary school and two days at the preschool center
- April 13, 2026, to June 1, 2026: Four days per week at the preschool center
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse age groups and needs
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
