HVAC/R Project Development Coordinator (Estimator)

ProjectDevelopmentCoordinatorwillberesponsibletopreparecompletemechanicalservicesestimatesforassignedproject(s) directlyorwithcoordinatedeffortsofsuperior,peerandsubordinatepersonnel.

Essentialjobfunctionsinclude(butarenotlimitedto):

• Reviewingandincorporatinghistoricaldatafrompurchaseorders,subcontracts,productivityanalysisreports,etc.,intounitandhanhourfigures.
• Reviewofproposalspecifications,drawings,attendpre-bidmeetings,etc.,todeterminescopeofworkandrequiredcontentsofestimate
• Prepareestimatesbycalculatingcompletetakeoffofscopeofwork
• Coordinatetotalestimatingeffortrelevanttoparticularbid/project,asassigned.
• Followawardedcontractsasassigned.Mayincludeestimating/pricingextraworkitems,changeorders,credits,procuringmaterials,etc.

Qualificationsinclude:

• 4-yearengineeringdegreeorequivalentcombinationsoftechnicaltrainingand/orexperience.
• Working knowledge of CAD
• Revit experience preferred but not required.
• Shouldpossessat least 2 yearsestimating,costcontroland/orengineeringexperiencerelatedtosimilarfacilityconstruction.
• Knowledgeofestimatingtechniquesandcostcontrol,plusabilitytointerpretcomputerizedcostdataandsystemsessential.
• Thoroughknowledgeofplumbingandheating/ventilation/airconditioningamust.MastLicenseaplus.
• Familiaritywithbasiccomputer/PCprograms.Estimatingsoftwareknowledgedesirable.
• Willingnesstoreceivecontinuedtrainingintechnologicallyadvancedestimatingdisciplinesinrequired.
