Job Description
Propulsion Controls Engineering has a job opening for a Structural Welder Journeyman II, with a minimum of 5 years of marine and/or shipyard experience preferred; supporting our Bremerton & Everett, Washington locations.
Job Summary:
The Structural Welder Journeyman, lays out and prepares base metals using air and power tools. Reads and properly interprets blueprints and drawings. Demonstrates knowledge of gas line and fire prevention. Able to run and post hot work chits, and set up worksites. Fabricate and template new assemblies utilizing SMAW, FCAW, GTAW or BRAZE. Performs other task as assigned.
Job Requiremnts and Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of marine and/or shipyard experience.
