POSITION SUMMARY: The NFI Group People & Culture Manager is a hands-on leader who drives programs that make a measurable impact across the organization. This role leads and executes company-wide initiatives in culture, engagement, employee experience, communications, policy, and governance. Working in close partnership with HR Directors, the Manager provides practical HR leadership and business support to ensure programs are compliant, consistently applied, and delivered with a strong enterprise voice across all business units. Owning the full lifecycle of key People & Culture programs from assessment and development through rollout, execution, and evaluation, you will ensure alignment and results that reflect our commitment to teamwork, accountability, integrity, quality, safety, and sustainability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Culture, Engagement & Communications
- Lead the development of company-wide culture and employee engagement programs that strengthen connection, accountability, and belonging.
- Oversee the employee listening strategies, including surveys and continuous feedback tools, translating insights into clear action plans and leadership priorities.
- Create and maintain People & Culture communication frameworks, tools, templates, and standards to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging.
- Prepare consolidated People & Culture insights, presentations and updates for leaders.
Employee Experience & Lifecycle Programs
- Develop and evolve employee lifecycle programs, including future state onboarding, stay and exit interviews, roundtables, and skip-level meetings.
- Partner with HR Operations to standardize, streamline, and continuously improve onboarding processes, documentation, and employee-facing materials.
- Provide practical frameworks and guidance to business units on onboarding content, employee information materials, and local integration practices.
- Analyze employee experience data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating insights into measurable improvements and follow-through actions.
Policy, Process, Governance & Administration
- Lead the development, harmonization, and ongoing governance of People & Culture policies and processes across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure policies are compliant, current, practical, and consistently applied.
- Manage and track the People & Culture budget framework, supporting planning and accountability.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and coach People & Culture team members to drive adoption, engagement, and sustained change.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Human Resources or People & Culture, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams to deliver results and foster collaboration.
- Experience designing and implementing engagement strategies, employee experience programs, and lifecycle initiatives that create meaningful impact across the organization.
- Strong knowledge of policy development, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements, including HR, employment law, health & safety, quality, and financial controls with demonstrated experience partnering with HR leaders to ensure compliance.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple priorities, ensuring timely and effective program delivery.
- Ability to build relationships, influence leaders at all levels, lead discussions and deliver clear updates that drive alignment and organizational change.
- Operational and project management skills, with experience managing budgets, resources, and HR programs to maximize impact.
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems, engagement tools, and analytical tools enabling effective data interpretation and program insights. .
- Flexible and mobile: up to 5% travel with eligibility to work/travel within Canada and the U.S.
