LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Ophthalmology MD in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

Ophthalmology locums coverage in Georgia with 24 hour call while on site at an inpatient Level 2 trauma center, adult only. Expect a mix of rounding, consults, and emergent cases.

Highlights

• Approximately one week of coverage per month
• Only 0-2 consults per day
• Weeklong block scheduling
• Adult-only coverage

Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital coverage, adult patients only
• Level 2 trauma center, emergent ophthalmology coverage required
• Support model includes standard hospital staff, no APP support
• Typical workload is 0 to 2 consults per day and 2 to 4 procedures per day

Schedule

• 24 hour call coverage for the dates you are on site
• Coverage need averages 1 week per month

Cases and Procedures

• Rounding and inpatient consults
• Emergent procedures
• Global ruptures are required

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Ophthalmology
• Georgia license required, open to IMLC Physicians
• BLS and DEA
