Currently, a vacancy exists for a Part time Instructional Assistant working within the Transitional Living Program at our Technical College High School � Pennock's Bridge Campus in West Grove, PA.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or higher or completion of two years of post-secondary education or 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by the CCIU upon hire)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applicants will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of basic skills in high school academics and the career and technical programs
• Must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team in an educational setting
• Assisting the Teacher:
  • Preparing instructional materials
  • Maintaining discipline and other behavior management functions
  • Arranging the learning environment
  • Assembling, adjusting, and maintaining equipment and technology used in the instructional program
  • Administering educational assessments
  • Performing other duties as assigned
• Assisting with Students:
  • Working with individual students or small groups on activities assigned by the teacher
  • Assisting, within the constraints of specific program regulations, in the supervision of students during non-instructional times throughout the day such as lunchtime, entering or exiting the building, etc

Schedule: 

• Monday - Friday, 6.5 hours per day
• 186 days per year (year 1)
• 185 days per year (years 2 and forward)

Hourly rate (2025-2026 School Year): 

The IA pay scale is broken down below for you to reference.

• 0 - 9 yrs experience = $18.72
• 10 - 13 yrs experience = $20.53
• 14 - 17 yrs experience = $22.41
• 18 - 25 yrs experience = $24.26
• *Bachelor's degree is equivalent to 9 yrs experience on the scale = $18.72
• *Master's degree is equivalent to 15 yrs experience on the scale = $22.41
