Server - Full-time

Our assisted living community is looking for a server/dietary aide to join our team. 

This position pays between $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Dining Room Server, you are a vital part of our residents' daily lives. Your role is a blend of hospitality, care, and teamwork:

• Hospitality First: Greet residents by name, assist with seating, and ensure they have everything they need to enjoy their meal.
• Precision Service: Accurately deliver meals, drinks, and snacks, paying close attention to individual dietary needs and personal preferences.
• Create a Welcoming Space: Maintain a sparkling clean dining room and kitchen area, ensuring all health and safety standards are exceeded.
• Build Connections: Work respectfully with a diverse population, including those with memory loss or physical impairments, ensuring every interaction is positive and dignified.

What You Bring

• A Heart for Seniors: Patience and empathy are your greatest tools.
• Professionalism: You follow directions well and can keep calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience: Prior experience in food service or cooking for large groups is a plus, but a great attitude is essential!
• Certification: You possess (or are willing to get) a Food Handler’s Certificate.

Physical Requirements & Safety

To keep our community safe and healthy, this role requires:

• Standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Maintaining high hygiene standards (wearing aprons/hairnets and frequent handwashing).
• Passing a criminal background check.
