This is a hybrid role with in-office days on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Job Summary:
The purpose of Quality Assurance Analyst II position is to implement test plans, test cases, and defect management in support of software test requirements. Responsible for working with the Product team to translate business requirements and user stories into functional test requirements while working with the software engineering team to compliment the software development lifecycle. A commitment to collaborative problem solving and quality product is essential.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Translate business requirements and user stories into test plans and test cases
• Document defects and collaborate with the development team on managing test results
• Develop templates and execute test scripts in tandem with development efforts within a given sprint during the development lifecycle
• Perform regression testing as needed for internally developed applications
• Contribute to the design, process, policy, and procedures for software quality analysis, testing, and feedback
• Participate in an agile team, collaborating with software engineers and IT personnel
• Promote a positive, supportive, and innovative culture of software development
Education and Experience:
• 2+ years prior experience performing quality assurance within the software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with testing and defect tracking tools and methods
• Experience with iterative, incremental software development processes
• Previous experience with the agile software development process and ADO is a plus
• Previous experience working with commercial lending and financial data is a plus
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Comprehensive knowledge with respect to the following:
o Validation of cases against Web Services (SOAP, XML, JSON, REST)
o Validation of cases against Web-based front-end (Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.)
o Querying for validation against Relational Databases (SQL Server preferred)
• Ability to write clearly defined and articulate test cases
• Ability to collaborate, validate, and assist in prioritizing requirements for projects and requests
• Ability to properly assess and articulate risk
• Familiar with Postman for integration testing
• Working knowledge of toolsets such as Work Requests Systems (Jira, TFS, or similar) and Distributed Version Control Systems
• Strong problem-solving abilities, interpersonal and communication skills, and facilitation
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.
• Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, move about an office environment.
• Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
