Job Description

Perform field service operations including installation, startup, repair, preventative maintenance and training services. Supervise subcontractors and support strategic growth. Perform service at the customer site while promoting customer satisfaction. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance,repairs, and adjustments of water treatment equipment.  
  • Assist team and vendors as needed to ensure all service execution activity is accounted for and handled appropriately. Be available to assist fellow service technicians.
  • Assist in project including scheduling essential equipment with customer and construction crew. 
  • Look for ways to add value to customer’s contract (additional services).
  • Identify customer needs and expectations related to all areas of the business, including parts, service, and products.
  • Work with Sales Team, Field Installation Coordinators, and Service Managers to identify opportunities within our existing customer base.
  • Provide product support for maintenance agreement customers.
  • Review service reports for trends and advise service, sales, and product support team as needed.
  • Help train and develop field service personnel. 
  • Develop strong corporate and plant level customer partner relationships.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Proven initiative and self-direction; positive attitude, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with customers, peers and other departments.
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to handle multiple tasks and establish priorities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist customers expediently.
  • Valid driver's license with Motor Vehicle Records review that satisfies company policy.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. on industrial catwalks and stairways.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
  • Ability to travel as needed not to exceed 15-20 days per month.
  • Strong computer skills required in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be willing to submit to random drug screening.
  • Capable of working with powered and manual hand tools.
  • Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be willing to follow established safety and operational procedures.
  • TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card possession or eligibility may be required, based on assigned region.
  • Ability to obtain DOT Federal Motor Vehicle License (Non-CDL) is required. 
  • Ability to obtain a passport for international travel may be required. 

 

Education & Experience: 

  • Preferably a two-year technical degree. Equivalent experience may substitute.
  • Two years relevant field experience working on water and waste water equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience required.
