American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Orthopedics Med/Surg night shift position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

- Acute Orthopedics unit within a hospital setting \n
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM \n
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6 \n
- Weekend requirement: 2 to 4 shifts per month, rotated among staff \n
- On-call is not required but may be requested if census rises \n
- Float requirement to all Med/Surg departments within the unit's service line \n
- EMR: Epic \n
- Grey scrubs required \n

- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) \n

- Responsibilities include patient assessment, individualized care planning, documenting interventions, point-of-care testing, and participating in discharge planning \n
- Delegates and coordinates team assignments while following up on patient care tasks for quality and completeness \n
- Candidates who have previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility in a non-travel (permanent) capacity must have been separated for at least 6 months prior to being considered \n
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local rate; this position does not explicitly state locals are accepted \n
