The Field Service Representative serves as the on-site, regionally based representative for the Wounded Warrior Regiment (WWR). This position delivers in-person outreach, benefits counseling, resource coordination, and transition assistance to Wounded, Ill, and Injured (WII) Marines, family members, and caregivers within an assigned geographic area. The role functions as the single point of contact for all field-support activities and maintains close coordination with military installations, VA partners, and community organizations.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the on-site, regionally based representative for the Wounded Warrior Regiment.
Conduct face-to-face outreach visits with WII Marines, family members, and caregivers.
Provide benefits counseling, transition assistance, and resource coordination.
Travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned region using Government-furnished vehicles (when available) or personally owned vehicles (POV) reimbursed per Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
Document all outreach encounters and case interactions in MCWIITS within 24 hours.
Maintain documentation accuracy at a minimum rate of ≥98%.
Attend military and Veteran Service Organization (VSO) events, job fairs, and Transition Assistance Program (TAP) classes.
Maintain close coordination with installation WWR staff, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and community partners.
Serve as the single point of contact for all field-support activities within the assigned region.
Communicate professionally and empathetically with Marines and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with federal privacy, documentation, and reporting requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in any field OR Associate’s degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 6 years of combined experience in one or more of the following:
Veteran or military family support
Case management
Outreach
Recovery coordination
Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (T3) clearance.
Valid driver’s license for use of Government-furnished vehicle or POV.
Ability to travel regionally and conduct direct, in-person engagement with Marines and families.
Certified Case Manager (CCM)
Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC)
