We are seeking an Electro Mechanic to join our team! This position maintains and adjusts equipment. Obtains materials from stock as required to complete assigned work. Assists in accomplishing major work projects. They’re helping to repair and assist in installing electrical equipment such as transformers, switchers controllers, circuit breakers, motors, conduit systems, etc. The ideal candidate will have a electrical and mechanical aptitude.
This is a full-time, union-hourly position located in Lancaster, PA. Standard hours are Sunday 8:30pm – 5am; Monday – Thursday 6:30pm – 5am; Two Saturdays per month, 6:30pm – 12:30am
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Installs and repairs simple electrical equipment such as switches, receptacles, motors and simple circuit systems. Ability to determine proper input voltages and continuity on relays and I/O boards. Requires the use of electrician’s hand tools.
- Installs and repairs simple mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, racking, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Requires the use of mechanics’ hand tools.
- Builds non-complex jigs and fixtures.
- Maintains buildings and structures in repair.
- Installs and repairs piping systems such as water, steam and compressed air. Uses plumbers’ tools and equipment to perform required work.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); six (6) months to two (2) years of formal trades training (i.e., welding, machining, HVAC, electrical, etc.), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Continuous and intensive exposure to several extremely disagreeable elements.
