Job Title: Sr. ASIC/SoC Architect
Job Location: San Jose, CA or Irvine, CA
Compensation: $240K - $300K base Depending on experience plus stock options!

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. ASIC/SoC Architect to lead the design and development of advanced System on Chip (SoC) architectures. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative designs that meet performance and functionality requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the microarchitecture design of complex SoC solutions.
• Work closely with hardware and software teams to define system specifications and requirements.
• Design and optimize memory and cache subsystems for enhanced performance.
• Develop and validate on-chip interconnects and network-on-chip architectures.
• Contribute to the design of RISC-V based processors and floating-point arithmetic units.
• Perform data path design and verification to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in the SoC design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SoC design and microarchitecture.
• Strong understanding of ASIC design principles and methodologies.
• Proven experience in processor architecture and memory subsystem design.
• Familiarity with Network-On-Chip (NoC) concepts and implementation.
• Experience with RISC-V architecture and floating-point arithmetic design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
