Summary

As an Assembler II, you’ll play a key role in building high-quality electronic assemblies from start to finish. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys precision work and takes pride in doing things right.

  • Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) and box-build electronic assemblies
  • Perform hand soldering (lead & lead-free)
  • Inspect assemblies visually and functionally per IPC workmanship criteria
  • Test completed assemblies and document results
  • Follow work instructions, drawings, and process travelers accurately
  • Meet productivity and quality expectations
  • Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Be a reliable, positive team contributor—attendance matters here

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of electronics assembly experience
  • Hands-on soldering experience
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions in English
  • Basic computer/data entry skills
  • Ability to pass a soldering assessment

Preferred

  • IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification (current or expired accepted)
  • Experience with ESD protocols and cleanroom practices
  • Familiarity with assembly documentation and travelers

Physical & Work Environment

  • Frequent fine hand and finger movement
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, and crouching
  • Lift up to 10 lbs frequently25 lbs occasionally
  • Close visual work (color recognition, depth perception required)
  • On-site manufacturing environment with soldering fumes and assembly chemicals
  • PPE provided and required
