Quality Inspector Auditor - Full-time

Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier 1 supplier of Acoustic and Thermal Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking for a strong and motivated individual to fill the positions of 2nd & 3rd Shift Quality Auditors at the Manufacturing Facility in Port Huron, MI

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job

 (This section is not inclusive.  Other duties may be assigned as necessary).

• Conducts First Off Last Off checks.
• Complete Process Parameter Checklist, communicate out-of-tolerance results to Production Supervisors and lead corrective action activities with support from the Quality Engineer.
• Summarize Process Parameter performance.
• Complete Receiving Inspection per Work Instructions.
• Complete Dock Audits per Work Instructions.
• Maintain Calibrations.
• Complete testing per Work Instructions.
• Completes forms, recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Assist in training new operators to WI’s and customer specification requirements.
• Adhere to ISO 14001 requirements.
• Adhere to IATF requirements.
• Overtime is sometimes required which may include weekends.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs overhead as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Skills preferred to perform the job

1. Mechanical aptitude, good hand – eye coordination.
2. Computer skills (MS Office, SAP) as needed.
3. Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to understand and react to technical data (e.g., part weight, color test, resin extraction, tensile strength, flammability) as defined by procedures.

Educational Requirements

1. High school or equivalent work experience, with previous manufacturing experience an asset.
