Production Lead 3rd Shift - Full-time

Reports to - Production Supervisor

Starting Pay: $18.00-$25.00 based on experience. 

Common tasks

• Able to lead and motivate a group of employees.
• Understands the production workflow and can efficiently execute tasks.
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Holds safety in high regard, follows all safety rules for equipment and general operations.  Takes responsibility for their own safety by acting in a safe manner at all times.  Takes responsibility for the safety of co-workers by calling out un-safe behavior on the spot.
• Actively participates in the HACCP and BRC programs, follows all Food Safety SOP’s.
• Actively participates in the LEAN management program, striving to increase efficiency and eliminate waste.
• Confirms that all direct reports are properly trained and following GMPs and SOPs and that each employee is continuously fulfilling his/her duties in that capacity.
• Works with the Production Supervisor and QA Lead to assure that adequate resources are available so that production is conducted in a manner that achieves food safety, quality, and conforms to all regulatory guidelines.  Supports the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the production facility.
• Identifies deficiencies in their area and ensures they are handled effectively and efficiently, prioritizing activities for the highest level of food safety and quality.
• Works directly with QA to resolve product issues that involve any aspect of the production facility.
• Communicate effectively with other production employees, warehouse team, and administration staff. 
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.  Cleans throughout the day.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times. 
• Perform duties at the direction of supervisor including any special projects or other assignments as needed by manager/supervisor.
