Location: West Village, New York, NY
Pay: $20/hour

Required Availability:

• Monday mornings
• Tuesday mornings
• Saturday & Sunday nights

Little Ruby’s Café is a fast-paced, high-volume café known for quality food, efficient takeout, and warm hospitality. Our West Village location is seeking a detail-oriented Expo / Packer to support our takeout and kitchen operations.

This role is essential to ensuring accuracy, speed, and quality for all takeout and delivery orders.

What You’ll Do

• Expedite and pack takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently
• Read and manage tickets using Toast KDS screens
• Ensure orders are complete, properly packaged, and presented to standard
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Prepare smoothies, drip coffee, and iced coffee as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo and packing stations
• Support service flow during high-volume periods

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in a high-volume takeout establishment
• Experience making smoothies, drip coffee, and iced coffee
• Experience using Toast KDS screens
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy service times
• Reliable and punctual with required availability
