Job Description:
Cal Water is currently seeking a Human Resources Intern for the Summer of 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for students eager to dive into the world of HR and gain hands-on experience in a variety of areas. As our HR Intern, you will be a crucial part of the team, providing support in several key areas including recruiting and onboarding, benefits and compensation, training and development, talent management, and much more. The position is located in San Jose, CA.Internship Requirements
- One‑year commitment from June 1, 2026, through May 28, 2027
- Summer - full time (32-40 hours per week)
- Fall/Spring/Winter - based on school schedule
- 100% on-site, no remote option
- Eligibility for employment in the US is required without sponsorship (ex. OPT, F1, etc.)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists with coordinating employees events
Assists with administrative aspects of HR projects
Provides support in new employee onboarding process
Assists with recruiting life cycle, which includes scheduling interviews and participating on panels
Assists HRBP in general HR related work
Assists benefits and compensation in projects and general work
Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business, or related fields
Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ideal candidate will be able to work 20-40 hour per week
Valid California Driver License
Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00
