Caregiver – Part-Time (Milwaukee, WI)
Join Our Compassionate Team at Assisting Hands Home Care – Central Milwaukee
We are seeking a reliable and caring Caregiver to assist a female client in maintaining her comfort, safety, and independence at home. This role is ideal for someone who values building meaningful connections and providing quality care.
📅 Schedule:
-
Weekends: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with dressing and personal grooming
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Prepare meals according to the client’s preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment
- Schedule and accompany client to physician and lab appointments
- Operate Hoyer lift safely and confidently
Requirements:
- Prior caregiving experience preferred (paid or unpaid)
- Experience using a Hoyer lift required
- Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Able to follow routines and assist with mobility
- Excellent communication and time management skills
