Job Summary
Pointe Academy is a Christian, play-based preschool committed to nurturing young children through joyful learning, spiritual growth, and strong community partnerships. We are seeking dedicated and energetic Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a heart for creating a nurturing, developmentally rich environment rooted in Christian values.

We are seeking dedicated and energetic Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a heart for creating a nurturing, developmentally rich environment rooted in Christian values.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with our curriculum and educational goals
- Provide a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Monitor and assess student progress to support individualized learning
- Communicate effectively with parents about daily routines, developmental milestones, and classroom updates
- Support diapering, potty training, and responsive caregiving routines
- Plan developmentally appropriate games and activities
- Design and maintain a consistent daily and weekly classroom schedule
- Provide basic care and nurturing support throughout the day
- Evaluate children’s growth to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
- Maintain open, respectful communication with families and colleagues
Qualifications & Experience:
- CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred (we will train the right candidate)
- Previous experience with infants, toddlers, or twos in a childcare or educational setting
- Understanding of child development and classroom management strategies
- Experience in daycare, special education, babysitting, or nannying is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Procare is a plus
- Basic knowledge of sign language is a plus
- Commitment to Christian faith and values is required
- First aid/CPR certified
Schedule Options:
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (hiring multiple positions)
- 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (greatest need - hiring multiple positions)
