Armed Security Guard - Part-time

We're looking for a professional Armed Security Guard to join our team. Your main job is to keep clients, their property, and their guests safe. You'll monitor premises, enforce access control, respond to emergencies, and project a visible security presence. The ideal candidate is experienced, highly observant, and operates with integrity and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

- Provide armed security to protect clients, staff, and property.

- Patrol assigned areas and maintain high visibility.

- Enforce access control procedures and verify authorization for entry.

- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.

- Write detailed and accurate incident reports.

- Stay alert and attentive throughout your entire shift.

- No personal phone use while on duty.

- Conduct inspections to identify potential safety or security risks.

- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed.

- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and communication at all times.

- Deliver excellent customer service with a calm and respectful approach.

Qualifications

- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required)

- Valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (Required)

- Prior law enforcement, military, or private security experience preferred

- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or military service record

- Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Reliable means of communication (cell phone and email)

- Ability to stand for extended periods and stay focused during long shifts

- First Responder, EMT, Paramedic, or related medical training is a plus

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and situational awareness
