Job Responsibilities:
- Receives and responds to telephone and radio calls from Bus drivers.
- Monitors Tripshot for driver routes and on-time performance.
- Responds to calls from drivers for assistance and give direction in a calm and professional manner.
- Understands service area to assist drivers in reaching their destination in a timely manner.
- Drives one of several different vehicle types in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the contracted service area within a daily assigned time schedule.
- Responsible for superior customer service delivery when dealing with drivers, passengers, clients and other personnel.
- Improve service productivity by consolidating trips on the day of service.
- Communicate route problems to appropriate personnel for review.
- De-escalate tense or stressful situations.
- Comply with all Safety regulations.
- Assists with notifying appropriate personnel when serious incidents/accidents occur.
- Records and maintains late and cancelled service assignments.
- Performs various administrative duties.
- Manipulate Scheduling software to maximize productivity.
- Identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Familiar with Tripshot, Samsara and or other types of transit related software.
