American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Perioperative Circulator for an Adult Surgery OR position requiring at least 1 year of acute OR experience and a minimum of 6 months of Level 1 experience.

- Hospital-based Adult Surgery Operating Room setting \n
- Night shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours/week) \n
- 13-week contract \n
- Focused on adult surgical patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures \n
- Perioperative circulator role involving direct and indirect nursing care in the OR \n
- \n
- Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license \n
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; all certifications must be AHA-issued \n
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute OR environment \n
- Minimum of 6 months of Level 1 facility experience required \n
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred \n
- Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and professional nursing theory and techniques \n
- CNOR certification preferred \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible \n

- Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates individualized nursing care for patients in the perioperative environment based on health status, age, and procedure being performed \n
- Responsible for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of patient care using the nursing process \n
- Applies clinical knowledge, judgment, and reasoning skills to address patients' physical, psychological, and spiritual needs during operative procedures \n
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 weeks (one extension) before being eligible for another contract \n
- Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon booking \n
