American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring a Maine or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

- Med/Surg unit caring for an adult patient population \n
- Night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week \n
- 13-week assignment \n
- \n
- Active RN license in Maine or compact license, or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement \n
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school \n
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required \n
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required \n
- ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of hire \n
- Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills \n
- Ability to function independently \n

- Directs and coordinates the patient care team to deliver individualized, quality care \n
- Develops patient care plans in partnership with physicians, care team members, patients, and families \n
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations \n
- Promotes teamwork with medical staff and hospital personnel \n
- Adheres to hospital policies on confidentiality, harassment, advance directives, and ADA compliance \n
