American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for a Med/Surg Nights position at a community hospital in Maine, requiring an active ME or compact RN license along with BLS/ACLS certifications.

- Adult med/surg unit in a community hospital setting \n
- Three 12-hour night shifts per week \n
- 13-week contract \n
- \n
- Active RN license in the State of Maine or a compact license currently in hand \n
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing \n
- Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required \n
- Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills \n
- Ability to function independently \n
- \n
- Directs and coordinates patient care team members to deliver individualized, quality care consistent with Maine State standards \n
- Develops patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, other care team members, the patient, and family as applicable \n
- Applies the nursing process — assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation — across patient age groups including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations \n
- Promotes teamwork with medical staff and hospital personnel and adheres to hospital policies including confidentiality, advance directives, and ADA compliance \n
