Job Description
Quality Technician – Auditor
We’re looking for a Quality Technician – Auditor to support a strong culture of operator ownership, process discipline, and continuous improvement. This role blends hands‑on inspection with coaching, auditing, and problem‑solving.
50% Perform product and process inspections (including welds to AWS)
25% Document findings, support corrective actions, maintain quality/calibration records
20% Reinforce Operator Self‑Inspection (OSI)
5% Conduct internal Quality Management System (QMS) audits
What you bring:
• Experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or auditing
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measurement tools
• Knowledge of weld inspection and ISO 9001
• Strong communication skills and a coaching mindset
Nice to have:
• Certified Weld Inspector
• Internal auditor certification
• Experience with OSI or layered process audits
• Background in welding, fabrication, machining, or crane components
