Job Overview:

· Patient workups, proper documentation of both medical & ocular history.

· Performance of pre-exam testing including visual acuity, refraction, intraocular pressure, lensometry and other specialized ancillary testing including OCT, IOL Master, Pentacam, LenStar, HVF and fundus photos.

· Educate patients on proper use of medication, pre and post-operative instructions.

· Assists with minor surgical procedures or laser treatments.

· Assists the physician during the exam by documenting findings and coding.
