**Equipment Technology Engineer (Cell Assembly) Internship** Warren, OH (On-Site) **Position Requirements:**  Internship will begin in **May 2026 and end in August 2026** There could be opportunity for an extension based on the needs of the business.  Location for this role will be on-site at our Warren, OH Battery Plant  Expect a Monday-Friday schedule on-site  $20.00 per hour **Ultium Cells Overview:** Ultium Cells is a joint venture lithium-Ion automotive battery cell manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solutions and General Motors. This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest battery cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.3 Billion. It will be among the largest battery cell manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications. The Ultium cell partners include LG Energy Solutions; the world’s largest manufacturer of automotive battery cells in the world and General Motors a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around. **Job Overview:** We are actively searching for Equipment Technology Engineer Internship candidate to join the Cell Assembly Department in Warren, OH. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with battery manufacturing and automation. • Continuous Improvement Process Optimization, Equipment Efficiency Improvement, and Productivity Enhancement Projects with Engineers. • Ability to use Logical thinking and decision making by focusing on identifying root cause objectively using data, analyzing production results, and following proven problem-solving methods • Knowledge of Mechanical/technical curiosity and mindset **Qualifications:** • Currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering degree program, or a recent graduate. • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively articulating ideas and collaborating with team members. • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and the ability to adapt to changing financial landscapes. • Availability for a flexible work schedule, accommodating occasional demands outside the standard work hours. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and achieve shared goals.
