Warehouse Worker

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6am - 2:30pm   / 2nd shift  - 2pm - 10:30pm

Duties:

- Adhere to OSHA guidelines for safety and compliance

- Load and unload containers using proper equipment

- Pick and pack orders accurately

Follow safety precautions when operating equipment. Forklifts, Pick Lifts, Pallet Jacks, etc.

* Receive and process incoming orders. Verify contents. Collect product, create pallets with product ordered

* Wrap completed pallets with shrink wrap and write order number on wrapped pallets.

* Place completed and labeled orders in staging area

* Provide quality service to customers and drivers picking up orders. Communicate with drivers politely and professionally

* Communicate any issues with customers and/or other drivers with the warehouse

* Fill out paperwork correctly, neatly and completely to document inbound and outbound product orders

* Wear appropriate safety gear

* Maintain warehouse - clean, safe and organized environment

- Assist in order fulfillment processes

Experience:

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in loading and unloading procedures

- Ability to pick and pack orders effectively

- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes

- Experience working in a distribution center environment

- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation

- Proficient in materials handling techniques

- Competence in operating pallet jacks, forklifts

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Previous experience in a warehouse setting

- Familiarity with inventory management systems

- Strong organizational skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

- Basic computer skills
