Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage daily outbound shipments, inbound receiving, and inventory movement for our brand product line. This is a forklift-driven, detail-critical role supporting Operations, Production, and Customer Service to ensure accurate, on-time shipments and inventory integrity. Hours are from 6am - 2pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, inspect, palletize, and package orders for LTL and UPS shipment
• Build custom pallets for oversized or non-standard parts
• Verify part counts and quality before shipment
• Load trucks and assist with freight scheduling
• Receive inbound shipments, verify counts, and inspect for quality
• Put away inventory using racking and pipe bays
• Process inventory transactions in Microsoft Great Plains
• Assist with cycle counts and annual inventory
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment

Requirements

• 4–5+ years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
• Forklift experience required (15+ ft racking)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Experience with inventory or warehouse software
• Microsoft Great Plains experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally

• Avoids forklift operation or physical work
• Is uncomfortable lifting, moving pallets, or being on the floor daily
• Struggles with accuracy, counting, or double-checking work
• Needs constant supervision or direction
• Has only entry-level warehouse experience

This role IS for someone who takes ownership, notices mistakes before they ship, and understands that accuracy matters more than speed.
