About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of creating a calm, efficient, and enjoyable experience for patients. You will assist our doctors during a variety of dental procedures, maintain clinical safety and sterilization standards, and ensure every patient feels informed and comfortable throughout their visit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during dental procedures across General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery
- Prepare operatories and maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
- Run exam columns and manage clinical workflow efficiently
- Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and scans
- Order and maintain clinical supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience
- Support the front office and patient scheduling as needed
- Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth daily operations
- Uphold office standards, policies, and a positive workplace culture
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- X-ray certification required
- 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Coronal polish certification is a plus but not required
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patients
- Warm, friendly, and outgoing personality with excellent organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and practice policies
Pay & Compensation
- $17–$22 per hour, depending on experience
