Position: Onboarding Coordinator – New Hire Department

Salary Range: $33,280 – $37,440 annually
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others succeed? CDS in Texas is looking for an Entry-Level Onboarding Coordinator to join our New Hire team and play a key role in supporting individuals with disabilities and their caregivers.

What You’ll Do:
As an Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for new hires, ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Verifying and processing new hire documentation in accordance with program rules
- Assisting with I-9 compliance, background checks, and state registry verifications
- Creating and maintaining employee files and demographic records
- Managing a caseload of clients and employees, ensuring all paperwork is complete
- Communicating with employers and employees to resolve onboarding issues
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless hiring experience
- Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all regulatory requirements
✅ What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare or administrative setting (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and ability to learn agency-specific software
- Typing speed of 35 WPM with 80% accuracy
- A positive, empathetic, and proactive attitude
