Pay Range: $55,000-$65,000
Position Overview
M Force Partners is seeking an Manufacturing Assembly Technician to support the design, assembly, testing, and deployment of advanced plasma CVD and similar process equipment. This hands-on role supports both early-stage facility setup and ongoing manufacturing operations, working closely with engineering to build, test, and troubleshoot high-precision process tools.
This opportunity is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician who enjoys working with complex equipment, supporting manufacturing infrastructure, and contributing to cutting-edge technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Startup Support
- Assist with the setup of a new manufacturing facility, including equipment layout and infrastructure preparation
- Support the purchase, installation, and setup of process gas distribution and water-cooling systems
- Help establish assembly and test areas for process equipment
Manufacturing & Assembly Support
- Perform mechanical assembly of process tools in collaboration with engineering teams
- Assemble components ranging from standard mechanical parts to cleanroom-style, high-vacuum assemblies
- Support electrical assembly and wiring of equipment
- Conduct sub-system testing and full functional system testing
- Prepare and organize pre-shipment test documentation
- Maintain manufacturing infrastructure systems, including hydrogen generators, liquid nitrogen systems, process gas systems, and water chillers
System & Customer Support
- Provide remote diagnostic and technical support to customers as needed
- Support initial equipment installation and service activities, including occasional travel (domestic and international)
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of applicable hands-on experience or equivalent technical education
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with equipment assembly and minor fabrication (drilling, tapping, etc.)
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow technical documentation and work instructions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling or maintaining vacuum systems or process equipment
- Familiarity with basic electronic test methods
- Knowledge of machining methods or shop practices
- Exposure to RF or microwave hardware or testing environments
- Associate’s degree or higher in a technical discipline
