Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years manufacturing experience in an office role such as Production Scheduler, Production Planner, Production Master Scheduler, Sales Support, Manufacturing Customer Service, Manufacturing Sales Support, Manufacturing Office Support, Inventory Analyst
  • Interfaces daily with Materials Manager, Master Planner, Raw and Dry Materials Purchasers, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Shipping/Receiving, Transportation, and Quality
  • Possess “hands on” work style
  • Successful background in resolving customer issues relating to sales, production, quality, etc.
  • Demonstrates the ability to make sound business decisions based on past occurrences and feedback from key team members
  • Possess good people and communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully work as part of team
  • Have advanced working knowledge of computer and touch screen operation

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Post shipments from the previous days manifest
  • Retrieve new orders that come in from the night prior
  • Check pricing and request date
  • Confirm pricing and delivery dates to customer
  • Cycle count Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Communicate with office admin to post inventory adjustments
  • Obtain updates on corrugate, color, and bag inventory for orders to support production
  • Obtain manifest throughout the day from shipping department and post shipments
  • Run weekly history reports in order to determine quarterly forecast
  • Meet daily with Warehouse Manager to determine warehouse capabilities
  • Daily/weekly run 90 day slow movement report for
  • Run weekly sales and raw material reports
  • Change bill of materials when required
  • Set up new part numbers when required
  • Lead monthly and year end inventories, and close out with accountant
  • Update and print rolling production schedule
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with customer as needed
  • Communicate effectively with all plant personnel
  • Complete assigned daily line audits
  • Participate in monthly and annual inventory counting as assigned
  • In the absence of immediate supervisor, will assume necessary operational and administrative duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
