Sales Representative

Job Summary: As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a key role in growing our agency by helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. Your primary responsibilities will be to generate new business, build lasting client relationships, and maintain a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and leads we provide
• Provide quotes and explain coverage options for auto, home, renters, life, and commercial insurance
• Educate clients on appropriate insurance coverage and policy options
• Follow up with prospects and maintain a pipeline of potential customers
• Manage and grow an existing book of business through cross-selling and renewal retention
• Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and agency policies
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details in our CRM system

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree a plus)
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health Insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
• Prior experience in sales, customer service, or insurance is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with computers, email, and software such as Microsoft Office
