Job Title: Solutions Sales Executive (MBA Graduate)
Location: Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site / 2 Days Remote in Pittsburgh, PA 15205 OR Remote with travel to Pittsburgh, PA for training. (Must reside in Detroit, MI; Grand Rapids, MI; Lansing, MI; Akron, OH; Cleveland, OH; or Canton, OH)
Work Schedule/Shift: Monday to Friday, Standard business hours | Minimum 40 work hours per week.
Duration/Length of Assignment: Direct Hire / Full Time (W2)

CEI is hiring a Solutions Sales Executive (MBA Graduate) to support the continued expansion of its enterprise AI and digital transformation practice. This role is part of CEI’s internal Sales & Business Development organization and is focused on driving growth within Fortune 1000 accounts. The position was created to build long-term enterprise sales capability by developing MBA-level talent into consultative solution sellers. The individual will work directly with senior sales leaders, AI subject matter experts, and delivery teams to help identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities tied to enterprise IT services, AI enablement, cloud modernization, and analytics initiatives. From a functional standpoint, this role supports the full enterprise consultative sales cycle. The associate will be responsible for researching target accounts, identifying potential AI and IT transformation needs, participating in client-facing discussions, and assisting with solution positioning and proposal development. The expectation is that the candidate will quickly learn CEI’s service offerings, understand how to communicate business value and return on investment (ROI), and contribute meaningfully to opportunity development. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to enterprise technology sales, structured mentorship, and a defined growth path into senior sales or account management roles.

Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
  • MBA (recent graduate or final-year student) in Sales, Marketing, Strategy, or General Management
  • Strong interest in technology, AI, and consulting environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret business needs and articulate ROI
  • Motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn enterprise sales processes
  • Ability to support consultative sales cycles within Fortune 1000 accounts
  • Experience or familiarity with CRM systems for lead tracking and forecasting

Day to Day/Responsibilities:
  • Begin the day reviewing pipeline updates within the CRM system, updating lead statuses, and tracking progress against active opportunities to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Conduct structured research on Fortune 1000 target accounts to identify potential AI, digital transformation, and enterprise IT service needs
  • Collaborate with senior sales leaders to qualify inbound and outbound opportunities and determine next-step engagement strategies
  • Support outreach efforts through coordinated email campaigns, call preparation, and follow-up communications to initiate and nurture executive-level relationships
  • Prepare briefing materials and account summaries ahead of client meetings, including business context, industry challenges, and relevant solution positioning
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and solution discussions to observe and contribute to consultative selling conversations
  • Assist in developing proposals, RFP responses, pricing models, and presentation decks that articulate business value, measurable ROI, and implementation approach
  • Coordinate with AI experts and delivery teams to gather technical input and ensure solution alignment with client requirements
  • Help communicate solution benefits in clear business terms, focusing on operational improvement, cost optimization, and transformation outcomes
  • Maintain organized documentation of client communications, opportunity stages, and forecasting data within the CRM platform
  • Attend internal sales strategy sessions and mentorship meetings as part of the structured onboarding program
  • Continuously build knowledge of AI solutions, cloud services, analytics offerings, and enterprise IT services to strengthen consultative selling capabilities
  • Support leadership with reporting insights and pipeline analysis to assist with sales planning and revenue forecasting
