Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early learners as a School Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract role spans the 2026-2027 academic year and focuses on providing vital speech and language services to PreK and Kindergarten students in a collaborative educational setting. You’ll be working onsite with a manageable caseload of about 25-35 students, making a meaningful difference in their communication and social development.

Applicants from outside California are encouraged—if you have the right credentials and are open to seeking CA licensure, your expertise is welcomed!

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license, or eligibility and willingness to apply for California licensure
  • Previous experience working with early childhood or elementary student populations is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices within a school setting
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy across PreK and Kindergarten classrooms
  • Evaluate and assess students to identify needs and plan targeted interventions
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Consult regularly with families and staff to facilitate student success
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment
