Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced Staff Accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong understanding of accounting procedures. This role will support key accounting functions, assist with financial reporting, and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Support external auditors during annual audits and assist with tax preparation documentation
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses as requested
• Help maintain and document internal controls and accounting procedures
• Maintain fixed asset records and prepare depreciation schedules
• Support senior accounting staff with special projects and ad hoc reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
