What You'll DoAs a Group Manager, you'll provide leadership and oversight across all phases of the project lifecycle while ensuring Liberty's values and goals are achieved. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
Create and execute a business development strategy that aligns with Liberty's goals and KPIs.
Cultivate strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat and new business wins.
Represent Liberty as a thought leader in the community and industry, serving as the face of the organization.
Operational Excellence
Provide strategic direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with broader organizational plans.
Oversee project execution across cost, schedule, staffing, and quality benchmarks.
Serve as the escalation point for project, financial, contractual, and client relationship risks.
Lead Liberty's safety culture, demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
Team Building & Leadership
Build, coach, and inspire high-performing teams to fulfill contracts and deliver results.
Ensure staffing levels are aligned with commitments, and adapt resources as needed.
Mentor team members to support career growth and leadership development.
Business & Financial Management
Negotiate contracts, scopes, and pricing with clients and subcontractors.
Develop and execute subcontractor strategies to ensure long-term partnerships and project success.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and risk to maximize profitability and future work.
Conduct estimating, productivity analysis, and prepare financial projections.
Experience:
10+ years in construction management.
5+ years in personnel management, with proven success leading multiple large/complex projects.
Education/Certifications:
Construction Management degree or equivalent experience.
PMP Certification preferred.
PgMP Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
OSHA 30 certification.
Skills & Qualities:
Strong financial and analytical acumen.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, project management, and accounting software.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Track record of delivering results through leadership, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
Ability to manage risk, build relationships, and generate new opportunities.
