This is a key role in our daily operations — perfect for someone who enjoys supporting customers, collaborating with sales and operations teams, and keeping an office running smoothly and efficiently.

Berns Landscaping Services has an Administrative Specialist w/Accounting Skills positions available for independent, dependable, and experienced team members. You will be at the heart of our business.


🌟 What You’ll Do

We are looking for an individual who is able to support these functions of our business:

Administrative:
  •  - Answer incoming calls and follow up on customer service requests
  •  - Support the sales team with estimates and customer communications
  •  - Generate and reconcile purchase orders
  •  - Prepare, Organize, and maintain electronic and paper files
  •  - Perform accurate data entry
  •  - Provide support to office, operations and sales
  •  - Prepare correspondence and proofread documents
  •  - Maintain a neat, professional workspace
  •  - Operate company software, Microsoft Office, and office equipment

Accounting:
  •  - Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Processing
  •  - Enter invoices, expenses, and vendor information
  •  - Assist with Purchase Order, billing and documentation
  •  - Assist with collections process
  •  - Communicate with vendors, internal staff regarding accounting inquiries. 
 

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible administrative experience

  • Strong background in customer service and office operations

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with accounting or database software a plus

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Self-starter who can prioritize and work efficiently

  • Flexible, resourceful, and positive attitude
