Position: CNA

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $24/hour

Experience:

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State.
• Maintain a current certification in the state throughout employment.
• Achieve 12 hours of in-service education annually as required by federal regulations (and meet state requirements, if applicable).

Type: Full-time; Temp to Perm

Schedule:

• Day: 6:45am to 3:15pm
• Eve: 2:45pm to 11:15pm

Job Description:

• Support resident comfort and well-being while promoting the highest practicable level of independence
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide oral hygiene and nail care according to the established plan of care
• Assist with dressing and grooming based on the resident's needs, preferences, and dignity
• Bathe residents in a manner that ensures privacy, safety, and a respectful, calming experience

Position Requirements:   

• Read, write, and follow oral and written instructions necessary to perform job duties effectively
• Interact positively and respectfully with residents and their families, and work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors
• Willing to assist others, including team members, as needed
• Maintain reliable and regular attendance
• Comply with all local health regulations and successfully complete post-employment requirements, including a physical exam, drug screening, criminal background check, and reference verification
• New graduates are welcome.
