Imaging Technologist-GEN X-Ray/Special Procedures - Part-time

JOB TITLE:  Imaging Technologist – Spinal/X-Ray

SCHEDULE: 0.6 FTE  every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

LOCATION OR DEPARTMENT:  Float between our two clinics in Coon Rapids

REPORTS TO:  Lead Technologist or Clinic Manager

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:  None

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Run a C-arm for special procedures (Pain Management injections) and radiographic exams according to established protocols to provide quality images and patient care.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  
•    Perform all special procedures and radiographic exams according to established protocols to provide quality images and patient care in a timely manner. 
•    Obtain patient history, answer questions, and provide the patient with information about the exam and/or procedure so they are comfortable and thoroughly understand it.
•    Work with the radiologists, referring clinics and/or patients to ensure the appropriate exams, films and medical records are correct and prepared for the exam.
•    Ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete for the radiologist, referring clinic and the patient’s medical records.
•    May require local travel. 
•    Incorporate company values into daily interactions with internal and external customers.
•    Other duties may include, but are not limited to, training new employees, stocking and/or ordering department supplies and assisting in other departments.
