Kinetic Events Staffing is hiring Event Team Leads / Staff Managers for a large-scale conference in Nashville, Tennessee, taking place Sunday, February 15 – Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Our Team Leads will oversee 15–20 event staff across multiple zones and floors at Music City Center (201 Rep. John Lewis Way S, Nashville, TN 37203). This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-volume environment, supporting attendee and exhibitor registration, info desks, merchandise sales, badge scanning, and other core event operations.

We’re seeking experienced event professionals—particularly those with event production, operations, or people-management backgrounds—who can lead confidently on the floor, troubleshoot in real time, and keep teams running smoothly under pressure.

Important Environment Note

This is a hunting-focused convention. Firearms, hunting equipment, animal pelts, taxidermy, and related displays will be present. Team Leads must remain professional, neutral, and respectful at all times. Personal agreement with the subject matter is not required, but comfort working in this environment is essential.

Event Dates (Availability for all dates is strongly preferred)

  • 2/15/2026: Virtual training 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM (3 hrs) 
  • 2/16/2026: 12:30 PM-5:30 PM (5 hrs) 
  • 2/17/2026: 8:30 AM-6:00 PM (9 hrs, 30-min unpaid meal break) 
  • 2/18/2026: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM (10.5 hrs, 30-min unpaid meal break)
  • 2/19/2026: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM (10.5 hrs, 30-min unpaid meal break)
  • 2/20/2026: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM (10.5 hrs, 30-min unpaid meal break)
  • 2/21/2026: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (9.5 hrs, 30-min unpaid meal break) 

Shift Details

  • $23/hour regular (40 hrs)
  • $34.50/hr overtime (15 hrs) 
  • Paid weekly via direct deposit
  • Free parking onsite at the venue 
  • Uniform: Black pants, black button-down or polo, closed-toe black shoes

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct a team of 15–20 staff across multiple zones/floors
  • Serve as primary liaison between Kinetic Events management, client contacts, and staff 
  • Ensure all staff are in position, properly equipped, and meeting performance expectations
  • Troubleshoot guest or operational issues in real time
  • Maintain accurate headcounts, break schedules, and shift compliance
  • Lead by example in professionalism, communication, and adaptability

Job Requirements

  • Proven event production or production management experience
  • Previous experience managing 15+ staff in a high-volume venue or live event setting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
  • Tech-savvy (comfortable using mobile apps, ticketing systems, or handheld scanners)
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, and reliability are essential
  • Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs as needed

This role is not entry-level and requires prior leadership experience in live events.
