SUMMARY:
Namify’s Nametag Specialist position will be responsible for the quality assurance and processing of all nametags and custom projects that come through the production line. They need to be hands-on and able to stand for long periods of time. Attention to detail is critical while hitting all production time standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILIES:
- Commit to a regular daily shift. Arrive on time.
- Spell Check all text on engraved and printed pieces.
- Quality check engraved and printed images and verify them against a proof that shows the image, its size, and placement.
- Cut edges and quality check edges of items to make sure they are smooth.
- Read orders and specifications for items and follow specifications.
- Cut items to sizes specified on orders.
- Complete edging and cornering requirements using hand tools and electric machinery.
- Put pins, magnets, clips and other backings on objects using adhesive pads and plastic welding processes.
- Package items attractively for client presentation and protection when shipped.
- Stay well organized and maintain tags in alphabetical order throughout the day to ensure efficient sorting and processing at the end of each shift.
- Keep workstation clean and orderly, with tools and materials organized in their proper place at the end of each day.
- Return incorrect and poor-quality pieces to end of line.
- Keep any poorly made product from being packaged and shipped without being corrected.
- Follow Supervisors instructions and fulfill tasks as assigned.
- Assist with occasional piecework/processing jobs as needed.

Requirements
Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States
Must perform Pre-Employment drug test

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School degree preferred.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to use computers.

SCHEDULE:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (Full-time)
WORK SPACE INFO:
This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.
TRAINING:
Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.

Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested.
