Position Summary

The Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately preparing and shipping customer orders in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to ensuring all packages meet company standards for accuracy and presentation. During slower periods, this position will also assist with general warehouse support duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack and ship outgoing products daily, ensuring orders are completed correctly and on schedule

• Count, verify, and compare items against packing slips and order documentation

• Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe delivery of products

• Check shipments for accuracy, including correct quantities, items, and labels

• Process shipments using UPS and USPS systems and procedures

• Differentiate between domestic and international shipments and follow proper shipping requirements

• Maintain an organized and efficient shipping workspace

• Assist with general warehouse duties during slower periods, including organizing inventory and supporting fulfillment operations

Qualifications & Skills

• General knowledge of shipping carriers, including UPS and USPS

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment

• Ability to stay focused on tasks with minimal distractions

• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage workload independently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday

• Regularly lift and move packages up to 30 lbs

• Occasionally lift packages up to 50 lbs

Schedule 

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
