Monday-Friday 8 AM-4 PM

$18-$30 an hour

Responsibilities as Medical Records/Central Supply: 

  • Manage patient health information by ensuring patient records remain accurate, complete, current, confidential, and are compliant with federal and state regulations, HIPAA

  • Creates medical record for all new admissions

  • Maintains accurate order of open records, paper and electronic

  • Performs routine audits of medical records upon admission, throughout the stay, and discharge to monitor compliance with policies regarding documentation, physician visits, timeliness, etc.

  • Maintains EMR uploading of documents

  • Processes medical record requests

  • Maintains closed records in accordance with Company policies and procedure

  • Responds to telephone inquiries concerning medical records and may respond to correspondence, as directed by center management

  • Performs other duties as requested 

 

Qualifications of Medical Records/Central Supply: 

  • 1 + years of related experience required, preferably in a skilled nursing facility

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

  • Must be able to handle all the physically demanding aspects of being a Central Supply Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility

  • Ability to provide great customer service to patients and employees

  • Managerial experience preferred

  • Must have strong organizational skills
