Fabrication Fitter, 2nd Shift (NY, Arcade) - Full-time

The Fabrication Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding stainless steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications to produce high-quality fabricated parts and assemblies. This role requires strong technical skills in metal fabrication, precision measuring, and an in-depth understanding of stainless steel materials and fabrication techniques. Job Duties:

• Identify and cut various diameter tubing and fittings to conform to customer specifications
• Daily usage of measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges and tape measures
• Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner
• Read blueprints and shop plans
• Help develop designs for welding projects
• Use a variety of tools and equipment
• Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management

Qualifications:

• Read basic measuring devices.
• Cut and form tubing and other fittings.
• Proficient in math - preferred.
• Willingness to learn - required.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Attendance Requirements:  Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.

Salary Range: $25/hr - $27/hr, plus shift differential
