Seeking a Full Time Medical Receptionist for BCHP's Pediatric?Office?in Greenwich, CT.? Pay rate will be approx. $18/hr-$20/hr, negotiable based on experience.? Schedule will be Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday morning shifts.

Job Description:?
- Office responsibilities
- Verify all patient and family demographics
- Verify all insurance information
- Check the online pre-visit registration through the Phreesia program, adding and/or correcting any information in the patient database.
- Follow-up on any positive responses in the Coronavirus screening through Phreesia
- Phreesia should also be checked at the end of the day to prepare for the next day's visits. Incomplete registration and positive screenings should be dealt with at that time.
- Checking the online payment of balances and copayments, and assisting parents in making these payments at the time of the visit if not done prior to the visit
- Assisting new patients in completing the registration forms
- Updating all information in the patient's electronic record, including removing an Alerts that no longer apply
- Assist patients in obtaining access to the Patient Portal for each child in the family
- Manage referrals to specialists and insurance inquiries.
- Make appointments for future visits for patients as they exit.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records is essential, and familiarity with the NextGen EMR is a plus.
