Morgan Pavement is seeking a skilled and dependable Small Engine Repair Technician to join our team in Clearfield, Utah. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, steady hours, and a strong benefits package.

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $22–$25 per hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Full-time, 40+ hours per week

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of small engines and equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Blowers
  • Ride-on equipment
  • Weed eaters / trimmers
  • Pumps
  • Generators
  • Other gas- and diesel-powered small engines
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of small engine repair experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with gas and diesel engines
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical instructions
• Having your own tools is a plus
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
