About the Role:
Dow Jones is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for a Corporate Tax and Treasury
internship. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of corporate tax and
treasury while working alongside a team of experienced finance professionals.
The role is hybrid, based in our New York City with travel to Princeton, NJ twice monthly
You Will:
● Use on-line research platforms to perform Federal, State and Sales tax research on various topics
assigned as well as compilation and analysis of the results
● Interface with departments outside of Tax to gather supporting information required to complete
tax compliance
● Create and/or update Excel spreadsheets in support of the tax compliance
● Review current treasury systems and their interaction with other financial systems, giving you
exposure to the tools used in corporate finance.
● Learn and apply cash forecasting by legal entity; gain an understanding of how various business
units interact via payment processing
● Process Improvement and Automation: You’ll contribute to brainstorming sessions to improve
current processes involving the Treasury Workstation
● Work on other projects as assigned as the internship progresses
You Have:
● Completed at least three years towards your Bachelor's degree program in Accounting or a
related field (rising Senior)
● Previous Tax experience is a plus, but not required
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Excellent communication and organizational skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; and Google Suite
