About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our food service team. This role is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, tray service, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. You’ll help ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines

• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas

• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures

• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware

• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation

• Provide snacks and hydration as directed

• Support special dietary needs and resident preferences

• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting a plus

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Must be available to work every other weekend

• Ability to reliably commute to Norwood, NJ (no remote option)
